Celine started her direct sales career in Ireland almost 30 years ago. Initially this was with Grace Cosmetics purely to build her self-confidence, but she soon realised this was a fun way to earn some extra part time income along with her ‘other job’.
In 1987, Celine, together with her fiancé, now husband, went to travel the world and ended up in Australia. Whilst still working in Merchant Banking, Celine dabbled in Amway, Tupperware and Avon, primarily as a way to meet new people and form networks outside her regular employment.
Over the following years Celine and Mick married and added two children to their family. Celine continued to do direct sales as a way to subsidise their income and enable them to travel back to Ireland to see their families. When her second child was born, Celine realised there had to be something more to working full time and trying to be a mum to two toddlers. So, in pursuit of a more balanced life, Celine made the decision to become a Tupperware Manager.
Celine qualified as a manager within 3 months and then for her company car 6 weeks later, all while looking after two children under two and holding down a full time job! Within a couple more months the full time job was given the flick and she never looked back. Celine and Mick then added a third child to the family and her Tupperware business did not miss a beat.
Celine was consistently recognised in the Top Managers for Australia/New Zealand, featuring in recognition at all national and international conferences she attended and achieving many manager incentive trips for herself and Mick around the world.
Larna was introduced to direct sales in 1996, as a young married mother of 3 children under 5 living in Far North Queensland. The reason? Someone asked her to… it really is that simple. She certainly did not go wandering through the pavilion at the regional show with the intention of starting a new direct sales business!
To start with, Larna joined to learn how to take care of her own skin; do her own makeup and to earn a few extra dollars she could spend on herself. However, she soon found herself falling in love with the business.
Over the next 5 years Larna enjoyed a very successful direct sales business. She earned several company cars, overseas trips to South Africa and Hawaii and received recognition at both state and national levels. Larna particularly enjoyed seeing her team members develop their own successful businesses and was especially excited when it came time to present them with their own cars or travel with them on company trips.
